Roasted Asparagus with Peanut Sauce was not good at all. Even the kids joined me in the the chorus of saying "Blech". I was a little bummed because the sauce was supposed to imitate an Asian flavor. I think there were some problems with the ingredients I used. First off, I did not have any peanut oil. What I did have expired in Jan 2009. Secondly, I think Mr. Bishop meant for natural peanut butter that had no sugar. I had natural peanut butter, but it was sweetened. What a bummer.
It was all worth a try!
Just a little side note. I will be cook recipes for the next few days, but I will be maintain radio silence because of a project that will be taking up my time. Keep reading. I will post again on Friday!
Hmmm, it sure looks pretty! :) Peanut sauce doesn't sound too great though :P.
